Important Note: For Scout to populate in your Slack workspace, the agent needs to be added by your Slack Admin.

You can set up Slack alerts for a <a href="https://support.harmonic.ai/en/articles/15861097-schedule-a-scout">Scheduled Scout</a> by:

Selecting "Browse Apps" in Slack, and adding Scout.

Generating or selecting the Channel to receive alerts

Inviting Scout to the Channel of interest

Navigating to the Scout Notifications settings, and selecting Connect {to Slack}

Once selected, a Slack popup window will appear. Within the popup, select the Channel of interest

Scroll to the bottom of the popup window and select Allow

There are two ways to set up Structured Search Slack notifications:

Open the saved search you want to receive updates for

Click the bell icon in the top right

Click + Add channel to select which Slack channel should receive alerts

If this is your first time connecting Slack to Harmonic, you'll be redirected to Slack to authorize the Harmonic AI Bot.

Note: A Slack workspace admin must approve the app installation before you can receive notifications.
