How to create and use Lists

Use lists to define custom sets of companies or people and quickly customize and review traction metrics. Lists can also be used to include or exclude selected entities from your searches. Keep an eye on prospects or monitor a portfolio (including your own).

With lists, you can easily view these social and growth indicators:

  • Headcount πŸ‘₯ to indicate internal growth, poor performance or hush funding rounds

  • Social Media Following πŸ‘€ to estimate B2B growth (Twitter), B2C growth (Instagram) and infer performance on advised marketing budgets

  • LinkedIn Following πŸ’Ό to see who's becoming a WFH name and closing deals

  • Plus More!

Note: There is currently a limit of 60,000 companies per list.

Creating Lists

  1. Press the plus button next to Company Lists or People lists to create a new list of that type and enter a name for your new list.

  2. For a company list, press "Add Companies" and use the search to add individual companies or press the "Import" to bulk upload 1,000 companies at a time via CSV or pasting your list. For a people list press "Import" to add a bulk list in the same way.

  3. Alternately, add entities by selecting the results of a search, pressing "Add to list", and selecting the list you want to import into.

Sharing Lists

You can share a list with teammates OR you can export your list with all the data points available in the table.

Importing Lists

1. Prepare your file

Create a CSV of the companies or people you're looking to import. We can match a company profile by using any of these unique identifiers:

  • Website URL

  • Linkedin Company URL

  • Pitchbook URL

  • Crunchbase URL

People profiles require a valid LinkedIn profile URL.

Important: Ensure each identifier has their own column. Download our template csv for guidance on headers & formatting

2. Log into console and view or create a list

After you log into Harmonic, select or create the list you'd like to import companies to on the lefthand side.

3. Upload your CSV and map fields

From your list, click "Import" then ensure the column headers are mapped to the correct fields. You'll also have the option to manually clean up your data before importing.

People Lists

People Lists enable you to build custom lists of interesting people via Harmonic search or CSV import. People in lists will be regularly refreshed so you can know when they've started a new job or left their job to start working on something new. Visit the List in the console to track updates.

Note: There is currently a limit of 5,000 people in lists per customer.

Subscribe for People Updates

Press "Subscribe" in the top righthand corner to get a weekly update on any individuals who have changed roles.
