Key Access
Your API Key is located on the API Usage Dashboard within the Harmonic API Reference Docs along with usage statistics and your API Limit.
Admins can access the Manage API Keys to create and manage keys.
To access the dashboard from the console you can select your name in the bottom left corner to open the menu and select API Docs to get to the API Reference page.
Your API Key will be accessible at the top of the Usage Dashboard. Use the clipboard icon to easily copy your key.
Best Practices
It is recommended to create individual keys per surface area so that if a key needs to be rotated it is easy to know where the updates should happen in external systems. For example, naming keys "Zapier (September 2026)", "Polytomic (September 2026)", "Development (September 2026)", etc.
Admins can generate new keys with custom names and delete old keys from the Manage API Keys page within the API Docs. Note: there must always be 1 key in the account, so generate a new key before deleting the last one.
