What is Personalization?

Personalization lets you tell Scout who you are, your priorities, and how you like to work.

Why use Personalization?

No more including context in every session. Personalization is applied automatically to every Scout query to tailor its research, filtering, and outputs to your preferences.

Get started

Add your preferences to the Personalization page, or just tell Scout directly and it will update your personalization settings for you.

What to personalize

Include anything that helps Scout understand how you work:

Category

Examples

Role

Principal at a seed fund, Corp Dev at enterprise software co

Sectors

B2B SaaS, AI infrastructure, fintech, healthtech

Stages

Seed, Series A, Series Bโ€“C, growth equity

Geographies

US, Europe, LATAM, Brazil & Mexico only

Signals to track

New rounds, headcount growth, leadership changes

Output format

Tables, concise summaries, always include funding & headcount

Exclusions

No crypto, no hardware, skip pre-seed

Not sure where to start? Use this template:

"I'm a [role] focused on [sector] in [geography]. I care about [signals]. Show results in [format]. Exclude [anything you want filtered out]."

Better together

Pair Personalization with Skills - recurring workflows saved as "/command" for easy reuse. Skills automatically inherit your preferences.
