Advanced Queries: Filter Groups
Filter groups allow you to construct more precise searches using nested AND/OR clauses within the Advanced tab.
Advanced Filters allow users to track company growth trends and refine searches for stealth companies, focusing on headcount changes, founder locations, and precise keyword filtering.
Note: We recommend using the General, Funding, Sector, and Team filters whenever possible. Minimizing the depth of filter groups is generally best practice.
Examples of common use
Note: The following are just a few examples of how Advanced Filters can be used.
Identifying Company Growth Trends
Using Advanced filters, you can identify companies that have experienced spikes in website traffic or headcount growth, both departmental and overall.
Note: Customize your search by departmental headcount changes over specified time frames—90, 180, or 360 days. You can choose to filter by absolute numbers or percentages.
Best Practices: Use the 'Headcount' metric rather than 'External Headcount'. Click here for more information on how we ensure headcount accuracy.
