Harmonic supports single sign-on (SSO) through SAML and OIDC, and automatic user provisioning through SCIM (directory sync). Setup is self-serve through an admin portal, so your IT team can connect your identity provider (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, OneLogin, and others) without back and forth with our team.
How to get started
Email support@harmonic.ai, or reach out to your Harmonic account manager, with the email address of the IT admin who will handle setup.
We’ll send that person an invite to the admin portal.
In the portal, your admin verifies your company’s email domain (usually by adding a DNS record), then picks your identity provider and follows the steps to configure SSO, SCIM (directory sync), or both.
Once the connection is verified, users in your organization can sign in to Harmonic through your identity provider.
Things to know
Domain verification is required before SSO can be turned on, so make sure your IT contact has access to your DNS settings.
Users’ emails in your identity provider need to match the emails on their Harmonic accounts.
If you set up SCIM, user access is managed from your identity provider, so adding or removing someone there updates their Harmonic access.
The admin portal invite is tied to your organization. If it expires or goes to the wrong person, contact us and we’ll send a new one.
Already using SAML with Harmonic?
Existing SSO connections have been moved to the new setup, so no action is needed. If you run into sign-in issues, contact support@harmonic.ai.
