How to get setup to sync data with Polytomic

Overview

Polytomic is a no-code integration tool to sync data to and from Harmonic. There are 3 key elements to Polytomic:

Connections

These are the connected accounts that can serve as data Sources and Destinations.

Models

These are the structured sources of information. One model represents the people or companies from a particular search or list.

Syncs

Syncs move data from a data source into a data destination. They also set the cadence for how often this process happens

Onboarding Prep

Determine your data sources & destinations

Which platforms would you like this sync to push data to & from? Most customers sync data from Harmonic into their CRMs or data warehouses. Currently, the only supported sync into Harmonic would be to insert companies or people into a Harmonic list.

Determine your initial workflows

Are you interested in enriching the companies or people in your destination that you already know about? Are you interested in adding new companies or people from searches? Both?

Determine required team members

Who on your team has access to the necessary API keys for your destination? Who has admin access to create or modify fields within your destination?

Connect to your sources & destinations

Log in to Polytomic and click Connections on the lefthand side. Click Connections and add each source / destination including Harmonic. Grab your Harmonic API key from the API Dashboard or create a new key on the Manage API Keys page.

Determine the fields you want & create them in your destination

Which Harmonic data fields are you interested in syncing to your destination? Once you have decided, create the corresponding fields within your destination.

Determine the cadence

How often do you want this sync to run? Monthly / Weekly / Daily / custom?
